From first flight to professional certification, Five X Five Flight offers structured programs at every level. All training takes place at Conroe Regional Airport, Conroe, TX.
Student Pilot Certificate
Begin your aviation journey. This foundational certificate covers flight basics, aircraft systems, weather, navigation, and FAA regulations.
- Min. Age: 16 Years
- Includes: Ground + Flight Training
- Duration: 4–8 Weeks
Private Pilot License (PPL)
The most popular certification in general aviation. Fly for personal travel, recreation, or to begin building hours toward a professional career.
- Hours: 40–60 Flight Hours
- Includes: Solo Cross-Country Flight
- Duration: 3–6 Months
Instrument Rating (IR)
Fly in clouds, low visibility, and IFR conditions. The Instrument Rating dramatically increases your safety margins and flying capability.
- Hours: 50+ Flight Hours
- Prerequisite: Private Pilot License
- Includes: Simulator Training
Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
Qualify to be compensated for your flying. This certification opens the door to charter, corporate, agricultural, and airline career paths.
- Hours: 250+ Total Flight Hours
- Prerequisite: Instrument Rating

Multi-Engine Rating (MEL)
